It’s quick, simple to use, and gives you peace of mind when dealing with cash payments.The UV light feature works really well for checking bills. Having done various yard sales and more frequently getting warned of counterfeit money-I thought it worth grabbing this little machine for ease of mind … and learned a bit about our currencies: never paid attention to the reflective stripe being at different locations nor that they reflect in different colors until I got this machine.Very easy to handle, just charge battery for cordless use ( I was a little surprised to find the lithium battery removable but greatly appreciate this, as it means I could exchange it if it fails without having to buy a new machine), or plug it in via included USB cord (no wall brick) without battery. - On/off/switch mode with one button - and has a 20sec on time with auto sleep mode - just slide the bill over the small detector in the front middle and it turns back on in the original mode last used. Works with UV light for proprietary reflective strips as well as white backlit for watermark detection. - On oddity is the measuring scale and bill alignment; to match the different colors until lit ID strips one has to aline the bill to the end 16 unit side, not the beginning.It claims to also work on foreign currency but using the QR code - I didn’t get access to any manuals. Works great, blacklight plus it has backlighting to see the watermark. Quick to use and has a rechargeable battery so it's easy to move around.

The counterfeit bill detector is great for home use especially if you have yard sales, flea market events, or any personal selling event. Test every bill!

The only small possible caveat is that the plastic its built with doesn't feel particularly heavy duty so I wouldn't recommend it for people that would require it to be carried and tossed around a lot but for us, with our setup, that won't be an issue so its a 5 star for us all the way!

I really like the portability and convenience of this as I'm capable of moving it around and placing it in various locations I found that it is very useful tool especially for keeping an eye on exactly what we're receiving I wasn't really sure and was slightly skeptical about its abilities but immediately on arrival found it to be Munch easier to understand that I thought and realistically it's pretty obvious that it's not only high quality but the dual lighting allows me plenty of ability to check visually whether something lines with what my expectations would be. I like that it's capable of being taken around does it can be charged itself or remain stationary and plugged in giving some insurance is to always having a consistent location it can be located at regardless I feel like it is a perfect solution and makes identifying counterfeit so much easier. Construction is really well made it has a very high quality look and is very pleasing in any situation.
